Iran Security Spokesman: We Will Never Stop Nuke Program
The Word Unheard out of Tehran is that Ali Agha Mohammadi, spokesman of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, has stated that Iran never intends to forfeit their nuclear program. Ever.
"We have the power to negotiate because we keep our (nuclear) achievements in our hands and we are negotiating to protect them," Mohammadi said Wednesday. "It's definite that we will protect our scientific achievements as a basic pillar, whether talks make progress or not."
...whether talks make progress or not. How hard is that to understand? Will someone with a louder bullhorn than me please point out to the EU/E3 and the UN that it is not just The Word Unheard’s view, it is the Iranian Supreme National Security Council’s words confirming it: The EU/E3 are negotiating to stop Iran’s program and Iran is negotiating to keep it. Does anyone else see the painfully obvious? The EU/E3 conduct themselves as if Iran is negotiating for what they are offering: Money, trade, technology and assorted payoffs. Iran has stated no such interest. Therefore, how can this be considered a negotiation?
Mohammadi is also the head of Iran’s atomic ‘energy’ organization, and he offers such pearls of wisdom and clarity at a time when the talks between the EU/E3 and Iran are reportedly deadlocked. What he is saying is that Iran can negotiate because Iran has a program. But Iran is really not negotiating at all.
Mohammadi’s words confirm what The Word Unheard had warned about over and over. Iran never intends to give anything up in return, but by all means, ‘Show them the money.’ Iran is merely playing the stalling game that bought Saddam Hussein years employing the same ‘negotiation/diplomacy’ Jedi Mind Trick. Look who’s on the receiving end again: Europe and the UN (IAEA).
While Iran is not negotiating (simply extracting), Mohammadi had the gall to add this gem:
"We have to take the negotiations seriously and accelerate them."
Oh, yes. Let’s accelerate them so we can not give up our program but get the money quicker. That the EU/E3 is even sitting at the table is dumbfounding. The EU/E3 still thinks that acceleration means getting closer to an end to the program. What part of 'It's definite that we will protect our achievements' are they not understanding? Iran wants the trade and economic forfeitures to accelerate. Nothing else is intended.
What on earth are they thinking? What can they possibly be hoping for realistically?
There are not enough synonyms with ‘stupified’ and ‘dumbfounded’ to accurately express the reaction to the EU/E3’s willful blindness. Do they not recognize that they are trying to sell land to a fish? The fish doesn’t want the land!
But by all means, have a seat at the table.
